My Story

For more than 20 years, I’ve been behind the scenes manufacturing clothing for other brands. I’ve helped bring thousands of ideas to life, but I’d never created a brand that truly reflected who I was.

That changed in 2025. It all started with my daughter, Tashi. I wanted to spend more time with her, so together we created Pucker Up. What began as a way to strengthen our relationship turned into something neither of us expected—a real brand with a real purpose. Watching Tashi chase her dream reminded me that I still had one of my own.

So I created Shush the Clown. I’ve always been drawn to old-school streetwear, but also found myself questioning the direction of modern culture, politics, and the world around us. Instead of just talking about it, I wanted to wear it. Shush the Clown is for people who think for themselves. Every graphic is designed to spark conversation, challenge the narrative, and let you express your perspective without saying a word. This isn’t about telling you what to think—it’s about reminding you that you can.

Crafted by Da-lunatic. Every circus needs a clown. Ours just happens to own the factory. Unlike most brands, we don’t hand our ideas to someone else and hope for the best. Every Shush the Clown garment is proudly crafted by Da-lunatic in our Melbourne factory, where more than two decades of manufacturing experience goes into every stitch, every print, and the end product. When you wear Shush the Clown, you’re wearing something made by the people who created it.

The Friendly Rivalry building Pucker Up with Tashi inspired me to build Shush the Clown. Now we’ve turned it into a bit of a family competition. She thinks Pucker Up is the better brand.
